Sunday 6th November 2011 A Night With Joan then Meet n Greet
I love Joan Collins, she is an icon and have admired for as long as I can remember. I entered a competition to win VIP tix & a meet n greet with Joan & for the first time ever in my life I won!
We had a fabulous evening. Joan's one woman show is brilliant, if you're a fan it's a must see.
Getting to meet her afterwards was a dream come true & I have spoken with her on twitter often & she knew I had won the prize so after I introduced myself I told her my twitter id & she said "Nic I've been waiting to meet you" then made a reference to my picture on twitter so she for sure knew who I was which amazed me with all the tweets she gets and about 44,500 followers!
She was so lovely to speak with as was her husband Percy. The promoters said before we went in you could only have one thing signed but we chatted away and she signed all my items and Percy loved my TV Week magazine newstandposter from July 83 I used to have on my wall (showed them the pin marks to prove it!) Can not say enough about the amazing night we had and how gorgeous, witty & lovely Joan is. Once in a lifetime opportunity & dream come true.
