MEETING BELINDA

Wow the day before Olivia Newton John's cncert Belinda tweeted she was going, her & Olivia are my two idols and have been for years - if I could meet anyone it would be these 2 ladies. I sent Belinda a parcel to her Melbourne show on 25 Feb with a letter & gift and some of my extensive collection of Belinda items to sign.

After the Olivia concert I saw Belinda near the door we exited & I stopped & shyly told her my name & how much I admire her & we shook hands and she was very nice. That was a HUGE thrill but I would love to have had a photo with her. At the VIP cocktail party for Olivia, while we were waiting Belinda arrived. So not to make a scene & have her swamped we discreetly went up to her & asked would it be ok for a picture but I understood she was just there enjoying anight off & gave her an out as I don't think that because someone's famous they shold be hassled (I know I hate being bugged about work on my lunch break & told her that & she laughed) she assured me it was fine & was very sweet.

We took the photo & I asked her if she liked my gift & she said 'Oh my god you're Nicole?' & gave me the biggest hug. We had a lovely very personal chat for a few minutes & I started to tear up & told her she was about to make me cry. She gave me another hug & it was such a special experience.

I can't believe I met Olivia & Belinda on the same night, guess dreams can come true.

Anyway when I got home the next day my items I sent her were waiting for me & she had enclosed a note (which I haven't posted as its personal)
